At Empower to Cook, Ilaria wears the hat of Project and Ops Manager.
Ilaria loves working on food projects, looking for ethical ways to nourish ourselves, others and the planet. She blends a background in philosophy and storytelling with a very visceral love for food.
Before joining Empower to Cook, she was the Managing Director of a community based and plant-centred café in London. In 2018, she wrote “The Elephant’s Secret Kitchen”, a designer cookbook about sustainable eating published by University of the Arts London. This was shortlisted for British Book Awards 2019.
Her background is in Philosophy and storytelling.
